About me
About me
I am a mid-thirties partner and father who plays in a rock band, leads my neighborhood community group, enjoys the simplicity of a washed process coffee, and helps local musicians by providing free instrument setups and repairs in my spare time. I am constantly looking for the next opportunity to learn something new. I view growth as an essential part of life and I aim to be a source of knowledge and comfort to my family, friends, and coworkers.
In my current role as Outreach and Communications Coordinator at Everett Transit I work to ensure local and regional transit information is easily obtainable and maintain open lines of communication with residents, customers, neighborhood groups, businesses, government agencies, and more. I deliver essential information for Everett Transit as the web editor, social media administrator, community outreach and event planner, and copywriter. Additionally, I create and administer surveys for service changes and capital projects, provide summary reports and presentation preparation for City Council, photo and video content editing, etc.
I am now looking to join a team, one that works together to continually improve processes, interactions, and experiences. I am seeking a role that would narrow my scope of work and allow me to elevate my skillset and focus on making more valuable contributions both internally and externally.
The position of Outreach & Communications Coordinator with Everett Transit requires a wide array of skills and knowledge. Adaptability is required to successfully perform in this role and my ability to balance tasks and expectations, while also evaluating my processes to improve performance has allowed me to find success and become valued by Everett Transit leadership and my teammates.

My role at Narrative coffee was to assist our team and maintain daily operations. Using my 10+ years of experience in the coffee industry, I brought to Narrative foundational elements and processes that have been maintained to this day. My role included inventory tracking, bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with team members, banking and deposits, and invoice payment tracking; I also encouraged and checked-in on goal setting / benchmarks established by each team member for continued education and maintaining a high level of hospitality and service.
As the Recruiting Coordinator and Administrative Assistant in the field of Public Safety, my role focused on advertising work opportunities to potential candidates throughout North America using targeted job postings on dedicated public safety websites, demographic marketing on social media, attending and engaging with potential candidates at job fairs throughout the region. Working with state, county, and local government departments to delivery necessary testing products and proper invoice reporting, as well as the handling of sensitive documents and materials.

From our first conversation Ryan was on top of every detail of our trip. He made suggestions for how to make our trip more efficient. He sent maps and street shots so I could find the right bus stops. I had never encountered customer service like this before when planning a field trip with Everett Transit! On the day of our trip Ryan met us at our bus stop early and taught the kids about riding the bus safely. His presentation had just the right mixture of fun and structure --- perfect for our students.
All of us --- parents, students, the other teacher and I --- were blown away by Ryan’s commitment and helpfulness. We have enjoyed the bus ride part of this field trip every year, but Ryan made it an event to top them all. How lucky you are to have this professional, organized and personable employee working with you.
